New UK Lottery Record

The EuroMillions lottery game has once again played a pivotal role in setting a new UK lottery record. The draw that made British lottery history was held on Friday 14 May and saw one ticket match all five main numbers (01, 17, 31, 43 and 47) and both Lucky Star numbers (02 and 03) to win a jackpot worth £84,451,321. This is the biggest lottery prize to have been won in the UK, and it beat the previous record (see EuroMillions Sets British Record) by over £18 million!

EuroMillions Quadruple Rollover

A EuroMillions quadruple rollover will giveEuroMillions players the chance to win a jackpot worth around £67,000,000 this Friday 7 May. The last EuroMillions jackpot that was won was on Friday 2 April was worth around £13,339,500, and that prize was won by a single ticket holder. EuroMillions Sets British Record

Winning the EuroMillions jackpot on Friday 12 February has enabled Nigel Page and Justine Laycock to set a new record for the biggest lottery win in the nation’s history. The couple, who are from Cirencester in Gloucestershire, owned one of the two lottery tickets that won the £112 million jackpot, and their £56 million share of the prize is £10.5 million bigger than the previous record of £45.5 million. That previous record was jointly held by a lottery syndicate and by Les and Samantha Scadding, who shared another massive EuroMillions jackpot in November 2009.

EuroMillions Split Two Ways

The €129 million EuroMillions jackpot on Friday 12 February was won by two tickets, one in Spain and one in the UK. This gave each winner a prize of €64.5 million (around £56 million), which is more than three times the usual minimum jackpot level of €15 million. The huge jackpot was generated thanks to a Mega Jackpot game on Friday 5 February that resulted in a rollover.
