€100 Million Guaranteed Jackpot on EuroMillions Superdraw

The EuroMillions is definitely a lottery that has a reputation for its huge jackpots; however tomorrow will witness a very unusual draw. A EuroMillions Superdraw will take place tomorrow night and it has a €100 million guaranteed jackpot available to win. As we are only one day away from seeing the jackpot climb to €100 million people will most likely getting ready to cross their fingers and see if luck is with them as the numbers are drawn out.

This EuroMillions Superdraw is played exactly the same as any other EuroMillions draw, however the only thing that does change is the starting jackpot. Despite three players winning the top prize of €48,578,056 in last Fridays draw, the jackpot will now start at €100 million instead of beginning at the normal €15 million after a jackpot win.

Since the EuroMillions was first launched on the 7th February 2004 there have been 420 draws and only a tiny number of those have been Superdraws. EuroMillions Superdraws never have a scheduled date but they tend to come around roughly twice a year and offer a jackpot of at least €100 million.

They were introduced approximately three years after the EuroMillions lottery was brought out. The first ever EuroMillions Superdraw happened on the 9th February 2007 and one player matched up all of the five main numbers and two Lucky Stars to win exactly €100,000,000.

If no players strike lucky tomorrow night on this EuroMillions Superdraw then the jackpot will rollover to the next EuroMillions draw that will be on Friday 7th October 2011. It could be that a jackpot winner remains elusive again tomorrow night and then we will be well on the way to reaching the new jackpot cap of €190 million.
