Bad luck for UK in Euro Millions draw
If you’ve already checked your lottery tickets against the Euro Millions results, then you’ll know that no one scooped the Euro Lottery jackpot on Friday evening. It wasn’t the luckiest evening for players but there was especially bad luck for UK in the Euro Millions draw, with just £3.8 million in prizes from UK ticketholders.
The £12.9 million jackpot from Friday night’s draw will now rollover to this week, giving Euro Millions players an estimated £25 million jackpot to play for, and we can only hope that UK players fare a little better in the draw, after an especially bad week this week.
The biggest prize paid out in the UK on Friday evening was of course the £1 million Millionaire Raffle prize, and things really go downhill from there. Just one UK player matched five balls and a lucky star to win the second division prize worth £183,908. Then again with the next tier, of the eight players to match five main balls, just one is from the UK, collecting £71,761 from the winning lottery ticket.
With a £25 million rollover to play for this Friday, British Euro Millions players are sure to be out in force, which means we should see a few more million in UK prizes! Make sure you’re in with a chance to win and buy Euro Lottery tickets now for your chance at this rollover jackpot, but don’t forget to check back for the results and news at the end of the week!
