Double Rollover for the EuroMillions Jackpot
On Friday night the second draw of the week took place for the EuroMillions and many players were hoping to match the EuroMillions results to become jackpot winners. However, the results from this pan-European lottery show that no players won the top prize meaning that it is now a double rollover for the EuroMillions. This is the first time this year the jackpot has rolled over twice, so it will be fascinating to see if the jackpot will be won in tomorrow night’s draw, or if it will carry on rolling over and increasing in value.
Even though ticket holders failed to match the five plus two number combination on Friday night, there were ten ticket holders who matched five numbers along with one Lucky Star to win £150,315/€213,060. To add to that that were again ten ticket holders who matched just five numbers to each win £50,105/€71,020.
The results in case you haven’t seen them already from Friday 13th January 2012 were 13, 14, 21, 27, 39 and the Lucky Stars were 6 and 8. It was interesting to see the number 13 in the results, as for the superstitious players out there this draw was on Friday 13th, meaning that the number 13 did prove to be unlucky and also luck for some in this draw.
As the EuroMillions jackpot remained elusive for the second time in a row, it is now worth an estimated £29/€35 million in the draw tomorrow night – so have your tickets ready for the first EuroMillions draw of this week and you never know you could strike lucky and win the top prize.
