Euro Lottery jackpot hits 9 figures
If you’ve already checked the Euro Millions results (click here) then you’ll be aware that it’s a five times rollover this Friday evening as the Euro Lottery jackpot hits 9 figures and tops €100 million, or £90 million in the UK. Ticket sales were brisk for Friday’s draw, pushing the jackpot way over estimate, but still no one matched all the winning numbers to scoop the jackpot.
This has created a five times rollover, which while not unheard of in the Euro Millions Lottery, it is uncommon, this being the first jackpot of this magnitude since October last year. At €100 million, the Euro Millions Lottery is in the realms of possible record-breaking, depending on which country the jackpot goes to, or indeed if it is won by a single ticket holder.
The last time the Euro Millions jackpot was this high was on 8th October 2010 and in that draw one UK ticketholder walked away with a staggering £113,019,926 to become the biggest lottery winner ever in the UK. That jackpot was a six times rollover, and so it’s quite possible that the jackpot may just get this high if the Euro Lottery rolls next Friday evening.
Will we see another UK Euro Millionaire? Who knows, you’ll have to tune into the Euro Millions draw on Friday night to see, but when you do, don’t forget to keep your lottery tickets safe, and check those winning numbers or you could miss out on a life-changing lottery win!
