Euro Millions boasts record jackpot
Tomorrow night, the Euro Millions boasts a record jackpot as the weekend draw rolls for the twelfth time. It’s a record in the UK and brushing the record in Euro countries, boasting a jackpot of £154 million (that’s €171 million to lottery players in Europe). It’s the biggest Euro Millions jackpot of 2011 and if won by a single UK Lottery player will be the biggest Euro Millions jackpot ever!
On Friday evening, ticket sales were much higher than expected, pushing the jackpot way over estimate. However, despite high ticket sales no one matched all the winning numbers, although there were some big winners from the draw.
In total, over 5.6 million players walked away with a prize on Friday’s Euromillions rollover, and while the jackpot may have rolled over, more than £9 million was paid out in prize money in the UK alone. Fourteen players scooped almost £160,000 for matching five main balls and one lucky star, and half of those were from the UK! The prizes were high, and the winners’ too, so while the jackpot may have rolled, there were still plenty of happy lottery players!
The next draw, the twelfth consecutive rollover, takes place tomorrow evening so today is your last chance to buy Euro Millions tickets for the draw. It’s one of the biggest draws ever seen from the Euro Millions and one of the biggest lottery jackpots ever seen anywhere in the world. Whoever walks away with this jackpot will be rich beyond their wildest dreams and the only way to ensure you’re in with a chance is to buy your lottery tickets now!
