Euro Millions win for France
On Friday night, all eyes were on the Euro Millions rollover jackpot as it smashed it’s £22 million estimate by over £2 million! Ticket sales for Friday’s Euro Millions rollover were brisk across all nine participating European countries but in the end it was a Euro Millions win for France as one player from the country scooped the entire jackpot.
Players are certainly getting into the idea of the midweek Euro Millions draw, and high ticket sales across Europe for Friday’s draw show that the Euro Millions remains as popular as ever.
In addition to the big jackpot winner, another eight players collect £163,385 for matching five main balls and just one lucky star; another thirteen players collect £33,514 for matching just the five main balls. Several of these winners are from the UK, and there were big winners across every European country where the lottery is played.
In an interesting twist for the rollover, lucky star number 11 made its first appearance in the draw. Until the recent changes to the Euro Millions Lottery, lucky stars only went up to 9, this has been increased to 11 but it means that anyone playing their old numbers on Friday stood no chance at the jackpot.
The next Euro Millions draw is tomorrow evening and if you don’t already have your Euro Millions tickets for that draw then the clock is now ticking. The estimated jackpot for tomorrow’s draw is £13 million and we’ll be bringing you the news on any winners or rollovers later in the week!
