EuroMillions Jackpot Shared by UK and Austrian Players

A UK and an Austrian ticket holder shared the EuroMillions jackpot of £23 million (€30.8 million) in the draw on Tuesday 13th October 2015. The UK has now produced 55 EuroMillions jackpot winners during the game’s history, closing in on Portugal with 57, but is still a way behind Spain’s 74 and the 78 lucky players from the most successful nation, France.

In addition to the £11.5 million (€15.4 million) picked up by each of the top prize winners, one UK player matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star to pocket £731,368 (€973,754). Another UK ticket holder matched the Millionaire Maker code CMJ484477 to win £1 million and a French player snapped up €1 million on My Million, matching the winning combination SA4396602.

The numbers drawn in the main game were 12, 15, 26, 29 and 47 with Lucky Stars 3 and 11 and other awards made on the night ranged from £2.90 (€3.80) for matching two main numbers up to £27,087 (€36,064) for matching five main numbers. Check out the EuroMillions Results page to see the full prize breakdown.

Friday’s EuroMillions jackpot will now reset to £11 million (€15 million), with UK players hoping to continue a run of good fortune that has seen nine of their compatriots bank the top prize in the game this year. In advance of last night’s win, a British participant scooped £11 million on Friday 2nd October and an anonymous man from the same country recently collected a cheque for £35.1 million (€47.7 million) from the draw on Friday 25th September.

EuroMillions tickets are on sale now for Friday’s draw online and from authorised retailers. Make sure you get hold of your entries before 7:30pm BST (8:30pm CEST) to be in with a chance of winning this life-changing amount of cash.
