EuroMillions Results for Friday 24th July 2015

The EuroMillions jackpot was snapped up on Friday 24th July as a single ticket from France matched the five main numbers and two Lucky Stars drawn. Having pocketed a phenomenal €40.4 million (£28.6 million), the lucky player can celebrate in style as they begin to enjoy the life-changing sum of money.

The numbers drawn on Friday were 2, 9, 21, 35 and 46 with Lucky Stars 2 and 11. As well as the jackpot winner, there were over 2.2 million other players spread across Europe who were left with broad smiles after netting prizes. Four UK participants were among the eight ticket holders to instantly become £140,348 (€182,139) richer after matching five main numbers plus one Lucky Star. Another 14 players, eight of them from the UK, scooped £26,732 (€34,693), while the remaining prizes won ranged from £3.20 (€4.10) for matching two main numbers to £3,898 (€5,059) for matching four main numbers plus two Lucky Stars. France claimed the biggest share of the prize pool on the night as €43.8 million was split between 404,306 players, but the UK came out on top in terms of the number of winners as 645,896 ticket holders shared £4.3 million. Spain were third out of all the countries taking part as 425,770 participants bagged a combined €3.1 million.

The EuroMillions jackpot will stand at £10 million (€15 million) for the next draw on Tuesday evening and you can buy tickets now by playing online or visiting any authorised retailer in one of the countries taking part. Hot on the heels of Tuesday’s game will be the Mega Friday draw on Friday 31st July, when ten UK players will win £1 million plus a first-class trip to New York.
