EuroMillions Results for Tuesday 29th September 2015

One lucky player from Portugal matched all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars on Tuesday 29th September to pocket a EuroMillions jackpot of €15 million (£11.1 million). The result means that the top prize has now been pocketed twice in a row, after a single ticket holder from the UK scooped £35.1 million in Friday’s draw.

The numbers drawn on Tuesday were 11, 14, 26, 29 and 49 with Lucky Stars 3 and 9. There were five participants, four from the UK and one from France, who picked up £149,089 (€198,039) each after matching five main numbers plus one Lucky Star, while there were nine players from across Europe who bagged €36,673 each after matching five main numbers.

Over 1.7 million other ticket holders claimed cash rewards on the night, ranging from £3 (€4) for matching two main numbers to £1,725 (€2,292) for matching four main balls plus both Lucky Stars. One UK player also matched the evening’s winning Millionaire Maker code to instantly become £1 million richer. You can find the winning code, as well a full EuroMillions prize breakdown, in the Results section.

Portugal won the most money out of all the participating countries, mostly thanks to their jackpot winner, as a prize pool of €16.4 million was split 220,842 ways. France, who had five of the nine winning players in the Match 5 tier, shared €3.1 million between 449,678 ticket holders. It was also a decent evening for the UK, as 394,289 participants won a combined £2.4 million.

EuroMillions fans everywhere can now turn their focus to Friday night’s draw, when a jackpot of £11 million (€15 million) will again be on offer. If you want to kick off October in style by landing a life-changing amount of cash, then make sure to buy tickets for Friday’s game by either playing online or visiting an authorised retailer in one of the participating countries. Best of luck!
