EuroMillions Results for Tuesday 5th May 2015

The EuroMillions jackpot will hit £29 million (€40 million) on Friday after a triple rollover, but over 1.7 million players still managed to win cash prizes in the draw on Tuesday 5th May. Participants had been playing for a top prize of £22.7 million (€30 million) last night and tickets were snapped up in droves.

Nobody managed to match the winning numbers of 1, 10, 17, 20 and 42 with Lucky Stars 8 and 9, and there were no winners in the Match 5 + 1 tier, but it was still a great evening for lots of fans around the continent. Four players, all from France, matched five main numbers to earn a very impressive €339,051 each. Another 32 participants matched four main numbers and two Lucky Stars to pocket £4,024 (€5,297) each.

Other prizes won on the night ranged from £2.90 (€3.90) for matching two main numbers to £138.70 (€182.60) for matching four main numbers and one Lucky Star. One lucky player in the UK did win the Millionaire Maker and the winning code, as well as a full breakdown of the EuroMillions prizes, can be found on the EuroMillions Results page.

It was a good night for the UK in terms of the number of players who won prizes, but the most money was earned in France. A total of €3.6 million was shared between 358,565 ticket holders in France, clearly boosted by the four players who matched five main numbers as well as seven who matched four main numbers and two Lucky Stars.

The jackpot has now not been won since Friday 24th April, when one participant from the UK matched the winning numbers to grab £36.2 million. The next draw gives players another chance to land a fortune and change their lives, so it could be that an eight-figure windfall comes your way and allows you to buy the house of your dreams or own a fleet of sports cars. You have to enter to be in with a chance, and tickets can be bought online by clicking on the banner above or by visiting an authorised retailer in one of the participating countries. Best of luck and have fun.
