Euromillions SuperDraw

March 6th 2009 is a date to mark in your diary because the National Lottery have just announced that date for the next Euromillions SuperDraw. It’s going to be worth a staggering £85 million and no doubt create a rush of ticket sales as lottery fever takes hold right across the nine participating countries.

Unlike previous Euromillions SuperDraws, this one will roll. Usually when the Euromillions hold a SuperDraw, it’s a ‘must be won’ amount where even if no winners match all the numbers the jackpot is divided between the next division players. But not for this draw, if it isn’t won then it will be rolled over to the following week and that could see the jackpot reach a massive £185 million!

This will be the first time ever a Euromillions Lottery SuperDraw has been allowed to rollover and this should ensure that players get a whole new lottery experience. It could even be a record breaking jackpot, especially if there are no winners on March 6th.

If the Euromillions SuperDraw is won by a single UK player then it will top the biggest UK lottery jackpot set by Angela Kelly back in August 2007 when she scooped £35 million playing the Euromillions Lottery. It may even top the highest Euromillions lottery jackpot to date, Dolores McNamara a mum of six from Ireland scooped €115 million, or £77 million in the Euromillions Lottery back in 2006, it was one of the biggest life-changing lottery wins to date and the biggest ever win on the Euromillions Lottery.

Tickets for the lottery are £1.50 each and with £85 million on offer in this Euromillions SuperDraw almost every person is the UK is likely to be picking their lucky numbers and lucky stars in the hope of scooping this massive amount.
