Lottery winnings are in the post

A Euro Millions winning pensioner is in hot water with his children this week after telling them his lottery winnings are in the post. Bernard McHugh regularly plays the Euro Lottery and was looking forward to participating in the special Millionaire Super Raffle, where ten UK Euro Millionaires were created. Imagine Mr McHugh’s surprise when he found he had matched one of the ten Millionaire Raffle prizes and was now, the latest Euro Millionaire!

Unsure of what to do next, 77-year-old Mr McHugh took a look at the back of the winning ticket and saw it contained a telephone numbers and postal address, as Mr McHugh is not a fan of using the telephone, he popped the winning lottery ticket in an envelope and posted it off to the organisers of the Euro Millions.

When Mr McHugh’s children found out about the £1 million Euro Millions prize, they immediately called the lottery organisers, who told them that they had received no lottery ticket through the post. Now the Mc Hugh family can only sit and wait and hope the winning Millionaire Raffle ticket makes it ok to the National Lottery offices.
