No luck for UK Euro Millions players

There was almost £26 million up for grabs on Friday evening as the Euro Millions rollover draw got underway. However, despite plenty of lucky winners in the draw there was no luck for UK Euro Millions players with players across Europe fairing much better in the draw. Thankfully, that didn’t extend to the jackpot, which rolls over to an estimated £38 million for next week’s double rollover Euro Lottery draw.

While the jackpot did roll over, a massive 22 players matched five balls and one lucky star in the Euro Millions rollover draw. However, of these 22, just 2 were from the UK, collecting just under £100,000 each. Again with the five number match, while 18 players managed to secure over £34,000 by matching the five main balls, just one of those players was from the UK.

In total, just £3.4 million was paid out to UK lottery players, one of the lowest ever totals for Euro Millions players. Even by adding the £1 million Millionaire Raffle winner, that still brings total winning to UK players from the Euro Lottery to less than Saturday’s Lotto jackpot.

Let’s hope that UK lottery players can do better in Friday’s Euro Millions. It’s a double rollover so an estimated £38 million up for grabs. Will the UK get its lucky pants on? You’ll just have to tune into the draw to see, don’t forget to buy your lottery tickets for the draw or you’ll miss out on your chance at this double rollover Euro Millions jackpot!
