One Second-Tier EuroMillionaire
The EuroMillions jackpot eluded players once again on Tuesday 27 September but the game did create one second-tier EuroMillionaire in addition to more than two million other prize winners. The EuroMillions results were 18, 27, 28, 35 and 40, with 03 and 05 being drawn as the Lucky Star numbers. Because just one ticket matched all five main numbers and one Lucky Star, the payout for that winner was a massive €1,207,291. The ticket in question had been purchased by a player in the UK, so the final payout in pounds sterling will be £855,670.
Three players won €134,413 (£95,074) each by matching five main numbers only. Another 60 players matched four main numbers plus both Lucky Star numbers to win €3,354 (£2,377) each. In the UK, one player won £1 million by matching the Millionaire Raffle number ZPG353173.
With so much cash won on Tuesday the fact that the jackpot itself rolled over wasn’t a huge disappointment, and as always the rollover means that players can look forward to playing for an even bigger jackpot in the next draw.
