One UK Ticket Holder Wins EuroMillions Jackpot

On Friday the EuroMillions draw took place and there was a triple rollover jackpot available to win that was worth just over £40/€48 million, however did any players strike lucky and win this top prize on offer? The EuroMillions results from this draw show that one UK ticket holder won the EuroMillions jackpot by matching all five main numbers and the two Lucky Stars. This top prize win means that the jackpot available to win now goes back to basics and it worth an estimated £12/€15 million for tomorrow night's draw.

The results in case you haven’t seen them already were 2, 10, 22, 27, 28 and the Lucky Stars were 6 and 8. Out of all these numbers drawn the number 27 is one of the least often picked out numbers as this has appeared just 37 times in the EuroMillions results.

Since this pan-European lottery slightly changed on 10th May 2011, one of the Lucky Stars that was drawn on Friday, number 8 has been selected 19 times (making it one of the most often picked Lucky Stars). However, the other Lucky Star drawn on Friday, number 6 is one of the least often picked out Stars, as it has only been drawn seven times since the 10th May 2011.

This is just the second EuroMillions win of this year, so it will be interesting to see if players can match the numbers drawn in tomorrow night’s draw to make it three jackpot wins for 2012. If you like the sound of becoming a millionaire then make sure you have your tickets ready for the first EuroMillions draw of the week.
