Portugal takes the Euro Millions jackpot

It’s the fourth week running that the Euro Millions jackpot has been won, quite a feat for a lottery that rolls over more times than an Olympic gymnast and this weekend Portugal takes the Euro Millions jackpot with the single winning player collecting around €15 million. It means that this Friday, the Euro Millions jackpot will again be reset to an estimated €15 million (£12 million in the UK) and players yet again get to vie for the pan-European lottery jackpot.

UK winners were thin on the ground on Friday evening, with just over £4 million of the Euro Millions prize fund going to UK lottery players. Maybe it’s the lull over the excitement over the Christmas Eve Millionaire Super Raffle, of which two prizes still haven’t been claimed.

With last week’s jackpot going to Portugal, UK lottery players did at least have the UK Lotto rollover to play for on Saturday evening and that jackpot was shared two ways.

Will we see a fifth jackpot win in a row this Friday evening? Or do you think it’s time for a Euro Millions rollover? Whatever you’re hoping for, the only way you can ensure you might be one of the big winners is to buy Euro Millions tickets for the draw and hope that your lucky numbers come up on Friday evening.

Good luck all those buying tickets for Friday’s Euro Millions Lottery and don’t forget to check here, immediately after the draw for all the up-to-date Euro Millions results!
