How to Claim a EuroMillions Prize

The way in which you claim a EuroMillions prize depends on the amount won and whether the entry was purchased online or in-store. This guide sets out the options available for winners.

The deadline for claiming any EuroMillions prize in Austria is 3 years after the draw has taken place.

Online

Prizes up to €1,000 – Any prize of this value will be paid automatically into your online lottery account shortly after the draw has taken place.

Prizes over €1,000 – Your prize will be paid to the bank account linked to your online lottery account.

From a Retailer

Prizes up to €1,000 - Visit any authorised lottery retailer with your winning ticket to claim a EuroMillions prize of up to €1,000.

Prizes between €1,000.10 and €80,000 – You can stake your claim by going to an official payment office with your winning ticket and valid photographic identification. There are payment centres in all nine states.

Prizes over €80,000 - You must claim your prize in person from the Austria National Lottery headquarters. You can call the Customer Service centre on 0810/100 200 100 to start the claims process. The headquarters is located at 1038 Vienna, Rennweg 44.

All prizes over €1,000 will only be paid out after an initial four-week period in which players can submit a claim or complaint to the Austria National Lottery.

Purchased a Ticket from Another Country?

You must claim any EuroMillions prize you win in the same country where you purchased your ticket. If you bought your ticket somewhere other than Austria, you can select the relevant country from the options in the top-right of the screen to see instructions on how to claim.

If you play online from another country using a lottery betting website or lottery concierge service, prizes will be paid directly into your online account. Check with the relevant site for full terms and conditions.
