Biggest EuroMillions Winners

As the most popular lottery game in Europe, and one of the biggest lotteries in the world, it isn’t surprising that EuroMillions has lavished hundreds of players with huge jackpots over the years. But what is the biggest EuroMillions jackpot of all? Read on to find out...

Biggest EuroMillions Jackpot in Euros

The record for the biggest EuroMillions prize in euros stands at €190,000,000. This colossal sum was first reached on Tuesday 7th August 2012 when the Jackpot Cap was hit for the first time, and whilst there were no winners, the following draw on Friday 10th August produced one winning ticket as Adrian and Gillian Bayford from Suffolk scooped the nine-figure reward. Just over two years later, the Bayfords' achievement was equalled by an anonymous ticket holder from Portugal. The €190,000,000 jackpot cap was hit for a third time in October 2017, when a Spanish participant landed the full amount.

Biggest EuroMillions Jackpot Rolldown

EuroMillions rules used to limit the number of consecutive rollovers to 11, and if no player won the jackpot in the 12th draw then the jackpot pool would be ‘rolled down’ and added to the pool for the next prize tier which did have winners. The biggest EuroMillions jackpot that was rolled down in this way was worth €183 million, and was shared by 20 tickets matching five main numbers and one of the two Lucky Stars drawn.
